My name is Ágnes Hernádi.
I graduated from Budapest’s Loránd Eötvös University in 1973 in Applied Mathematics. This was followed in 1982 with a PhD degree.
I have always exercised throughout my life and been aware of the importance and effectiveness of maintaining a variety of different exercises to have a healthy lifestyle.
I attended my first GYROTONIC® session in 2005 and subsequently my first class of GYROKINESIS®. This system involves the joints in a way which simultaneously stretches and strengthens the muscles and ligaments and I have found that regular practicing has not only greatly improved the mobility of my joints but has also improved my condition which was the consequence of previous injuries. I now can perform exercises which previously would have proved very difficult and have regained a much better sense of balance. Last, but by no means least, I feel enormously better altogether.
When I learned that this system would not continue to be regularly available in Budapest, due to my instructors leaving Hungary, I decided to enrol in the GYROKINESIS® teacher training programme.
I completed the Basic Course for Wellness Advisors at IWI in 2004.
I became a certified GYROKINESIS® trainer in 2007. To improve my skills and deepen my understanding I repeated the training course under Juliu Horvath’s conduction a year later. Now I hope to do my best to make GYROKINESIS® popular throughout Hungary.
